I like being different, I have never followed the in crowd.. In fact I usually go in the opposite direction.. This range has come about from my desire for unique designs and even more unique fabrics, I use Vintage patterns as my base and tweak the designs to make them perfect for the modern woman's figure..
To satisfy the desire for unique fabrics I source what I can locally and then I travel overseas 2-3 times a year to source amazing natural fabrics from Japan and Bangkok.. I buy a limited amount of each fabric and make only about 25 pieces in each one, so there is a limited amount of any product available.. I have started to do part production in Bangkok but it is about 40% of the production whilst 60% stays local.. All my workers in Bangkok are women who work from home and are earning a living while being a mum.
I love vintage designs as they allow me to be feminine but also still be able to be efficient in my life. Every woman's desire is to look amazing but still get things done. After a year and a bit of study I have a stylist course under my belt and with that information I am making sure my range has something for everyone.. My sizes are real women's sizes and range from 6 - 18ish, spandex in some designs make the sizes more generous.. I wear what I design, each and every design is in my wardrobe and on regular rotation..
